All over the world, March 20 is celebrated as the International Day of Happiness.

On this very occasion, and organized by the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue, representatives and members of several non-governmental organizations gathered at Cafe Bar 16, a social enterprise of the Center for Youth Integration, in order to exchange thoughts on, perhaps, not so simple question – What does happiness mean to each of us?

After the director of the Center for Youth Integration introduced everyone present, Mr. Tomislav Žigmanov, Minister for Human and Minority Rights and Social Dialogue, also addressed the gathering and expressed his satisfaction and gratitude to all partner organizations at this event: Association Soul, Association Space, Exit, After the Rain, ADRA Adventist Humanitarian and Development Work, PIN Psychosocial Innovations network, Center for Psycho-Social Rehabilitation and Re-socialization of Addiction Users “Land of the Living”, Academic Inclusive Association, Network of Organizations for Post-Penal Support of Serbia (MOPPS), A11 Initiative for Social and Economic Rights, Belgrade Center for Human Rights and Center for Youth Integration.

Representatives of the mentioned organizations spoke about their personal life experiences, thoughts on the topic of happiness, but also solidarity and the importance of caring for others. The International Day of Happiness, March 20, was established by the United Nations General Assembly on June 28, 2012.
